You may not have checked it out yet, but we have a Style Profile on our website. The simple test aids us in finding out exactly what style a bride is, so that we can use our sense of floral design to create unique and tasteful wedding florals for our brides. For instance, there is a strong difference between a bride with an elegant style versus a bride with a goofy or sporadic style, and we want to know exactly what our bride’s style is, so that we can give them perfectly individualized florals.

One style that Drue does very well is elegant. When KC Weddings called us in the fall of 2007, asking us to do a couple photo shoots, we were thrilled to find out that the first shoot would have an “elegant” theme.

The second photo shoot was a rose shoot. We find that many brides have slightly negative feelings towards roses. Probably because of all the red Valentine’s Day rose arrangements that they’ve received through the years. For this shoot, we wanted to show that roses can be quite unique and striking – anything but mundane. Just check out the photos below to see for yourself.
